1:On entering the Do Jang students must bow to the instructor, all foot wear should be removed.
2:On starting class students must line up with the most senior student on the far right.
3:When the instructor enters the Do Jang the most senior student must call the class to attention and bow.
4:If a student arrives late they must wait at the entrance until acknowledged by the instructor.
5:If a student wishes to leave the Do Jang they must first ask permission, and bow.
6:Salutation is an integral part of martial arts practice and much importance is placed on this and bowing during class.
Salutation portrays humility and respect to instructors, senior members and partners.
Do jang courtesy will be extended to everyday situations when communicating with a senior. It is also hoped that students will become more aware of extending courtesy and etiquette into their everyday lives.
